Unit 2 Theatre and Stages

Summary
Throughout this unit we learned about the real
theatre history and stage directions. Later on in
the unit we got to tour our own stage and
everything behind the scenes. We were showed
different kinds of stages and other important
things around the theater. We learned how
theater has evolved over the years and what
theater was like when it was first founded.

It is important to know the different types of theater stages

so that if you ever do acting in the future you know what kind
of stage you are on and how to get around.

Its is important to know how theater has evolved because

there are a lot of stereotypes with how theater has found.
What were your Identifying stage directions, because
favorite activities you got go move around the stage
from this unit and find out where you would need
to go if you were in a show or
production. Taking a tour of all the
parts that make up theatre was
another favorite because you got to
see everything that you wouldn’t be
able to see by just sitting in the
audience.
