As in any visit to a museum, it would be good to take some notes. Make notes of the

following and add your own ideas and comments as well...

Describe Freud's family background. Describe the composition of his family. What do you

think was it like for Freud growing up in this family?

-He grew up having a big gap between his step siblings, his mother was the third wife of his father and
much younger than his step brother that’s why his nephew as his playmate was 1 year older than him.
So, Having this kind of family will actually affect me in some aspect like the role he must play inside
the house , it was mentioned that his mother already the third wife thus It would so awkward for him
knowing that his step brother was more older than his mother.

Otherwise I salute him for being a very understanding person, for not being egocentric which
if it happened to some people like me maybe I couldn’t afford at all living on a house knowing that my
mother is much younger than my step brother. Hence, He was actually a very intelligent and
responsible person and he knew his role on his family, which was one of the most important things
we must discover and embrace In order for us to grow and be nurtured to our so called “home”.
REFLECTION

“A Monster always hides in the dark in unconscious and subconscious” .Every person have
his/her feared experiences that sometimes we treat as our flaws and because of the shame we tend
to buried it down where no one can notice and find it ,even to our own self . Psychoanalysis was a
therapy by means of deep talking and asking some big questions in life, the things that matter. This
therapy tends to released and repressed the emotions and memories leading the client to catharsis
or healing.

This particular procedure lays a great braveness and empathy, because by doing this was
like standing in the midst of war. Moreover, it required mastery; a Psychiatrist must know every
single step in doing this therapy. Hence, a psychiatrist must know the needs of his/her client in
order for the therapy to become effective.
