Let’s Get Started

To kick-start the set-up, please make sure:


You are by your electricity or smart meter,
(this is usually at the side of the house or at the back of the house… See
image)

You have a strong Wi-Fi connection,


(you can check this by looking at the wifi bars on your mobile phone. See
image)

Make sure You have charged your ladybird


(You will know you Ladybird is fully charged if when you try to Charge your
Ladybird, Your Ladybird does not flash, see image)

If your Ladybird is not charged, Follow the instructions to charge her

Step 1
Locate the cable between your electricity meter and mains fuse box. This is
located on the far right for a 4 cable meter.

This wire is usually blue...

If your electricity meter looks different to the diagram and you are unsure
as to which is the correct cable - please contact us and we’ll be happy to
help you

Step 2

Plug the blue sensor cable into your Ladybird Sensor Port.

Please ensure the cable is securely plugged into the sensor port
Step 3

Open the blue sensor and attach it to the cable indicated in step 1 in the
position shown. The arrows on the sensor should be pointing down, away
from the meter.

You can gently attach the sensor to the cable yourself. If your cable is
damaged or appears damaged, frayed or appears unsafe however, please do
not touch the unit. Contact us or seek professional advice immediately.
Step 4

Turn on the power switch on your Ladybird. This switch is located at the
bottom of your Ladybird.
Your Ladybird should quickly start up once she starts glowing.

Once your Ladybird is glowing, You are good to go! For any issues, please
visit the troubleshooting page or feel free to contact us…

Step 5

Log into your Ladybird App and check if your Ladybird is running as
expected…
