A. Anger Expression

Anger expression is closely related to someone's anger from speech that gives emotional
elements to others when interacting with one another. In this explanation I will give an example
of anger expression quoted from a film entitled "Fast & Furious 8". There are two figures who
are the object of this explanation, namely Hobbs and Deckard Shaw when they met in prison.
Both of them argue with each other discussing the past that happened between them.

Deckard : “Well, well, well Luke Hobbs behind bars. If you look at that the bent cop got his
day. That color of looks good on you”. (Welcoming Hobbs who goes to prison)

Hobbs : “Yeah look a whole hell of a lot better with your blood on it.”

Deckard : “Yeah good luck with that Hercules. Woman gone bad huh? Such a cliché. Oh well,
welcome to the club”.

Hobbs : “I wouldn’t get that twisted son, we ain’t in no club. We got nothing in common and
I’m like you I ain’t gonna be here long”.

Deckard : “Well you bring a shot with your job just 38 feet of steel and concrete. Well sure I’ve
been told. Better get to digging”.

The situation that happened was that they argued with each other but separated between
one prison facing each other. Deckard is delighted to see Hobbs finally in prison. There, Deckard
teased Hobbs with the sentence "That color of looks good on you" which made Hobbs emotional.
Anger expression can be seen when Hobbs says "Yeah look a whole hell of a lot better with your
blood on it" and "I wouldn't get that twisted son, we ain't in no club. We got nothing in common
and I ' m like you I ain't gonna be here long. ”Hobbs's sentence shows that he is angry with
Deckard for provoking him.
