Hello. How are you? My name is Mohamed. I live in Mayotte.

It is an island in
the Indian Ocean, east of Africa. In Mayotte, we speak French. My school is
fairly well equipped - we have a blackboard, books, pencils, etc. But we don't have
a gym, so we do PE on the beach! We start at ten to seven and finish at four. We
don't have a canteen in school - we bring our lunch. Normally, I eat rice and fruit
(bananas, mangoes and pineapples).

Hi!  My name is Fuad. I live in the Comoros - islands in the Indian Ocean where
we speak French.  I like my school, but it's hard to learn because we don't have
school equipment.  We don't have a blackboard, no paper and not many books. In
the morning, we start classes at seven o'clock and finish at eleven o'clock.  In the
afternoon, we start classes again at three o'clock.  It's too hot for classes between
eleven and three!  We don't have a college canteen, so I eat at home.
