CONCLUSSION

Nike Inc, is a company that sells athletic apparel & sport equipment. established in 1962 by
Bill knight and Bill Bowerman, back then the company worked as a distributor of Japanese
shoes called Onitsuka tiger for us market. Later in 1971 the company launch its first
footwear and continue to grow until today, Nike has many product category and acquired
other big brand such as Umbro, converse and Cole hann.

Due to its global recognition, Nike has a lot of competitor & threats. It is important for Nike
to analyze external and internal factor that affects the company. By using PEST and SWOT
analysis Nike can identify opportunity and mistakes that will make them stays at the top.

Nike has a large group of products and the quality is excellent. Products are easy to buy
from internet or normal store. Brand is the main thing why Nike is so successful company.
Therefore, Nike can keep high prices on their products. Sponsorships in different sport
leagues makes them even more noticeable.Nike have proven their popularity with their
current marketing strategy and can use more marketing strategy to compete with other
sports brand.
