renovation works on your high school building. You have now decided to write a proposal to the principal
of the high school in which you suggest efficient ways to associate classes of students with study spaces
(classrooms). You should also address the issue of learning in shifts by proposing an alternative which

The main objectives of this proposal are to describe identify the main problems in the way study spaces are
being distributed to the students in our school during the renovation works and to offer recommendation
on what would be the most efficient way to associate the rooms available to students.

Many students and teachers alike have complained about the timing of the renovation works taking place
in our high school, as they add more stress and problems to the already existing issue, the pandemic. the
main reason as to why the whole situation is difficult is the lack of space for students and teachers to
participate in learning activities.

It would be to everyone’s advantage if the administration decided exactly what to do regarding both the
issue of associating students to study rooms and pf learning in shifts. the only way everyone would be
satisfied would be if either the whole school studied online or we all went to school physically. The second
option is obviously impossible for now, so the next best solution would be to divide students in three shifts
per day, that only contained the essential classes, the rest being done by teachers sending the materials
online and assigning homework. This way everyone would get to attend in person classes, but not be at risk
for infection. It would be very difficult for the school staff to organize, considering de pros-cons ratio, they
should at least consider it.

Implementation of the ideas presented above would make this current situation much more enjoyable for
the students and teachers, that have been studying and teaching online for the past months.
