General Manager responsibilities

Head IP network team for India's 3rd largest FTTH broadband internet service provider. ACT
provides high speed internet services in 16 Indian cities to over 1.5 M homes. It has 11 data
centers present in 8 major cities.

My responsibilities include -
* Planning and managing capacity, redundancy, resiliency, security and quality of experience in IP
networks across all data centres of ACT.
* Work with global vendor partners for new product/service evaluations, negotiations,
deployment and support
* Manage BNG, AAA, DNS, CGNAT, core routing, caching & peering with various CDNs and
upstream bandwidth providers, Network Monitoring, Network Security, etc.
* Disaster Recovery for DCs in 3 major cities and full local redundancy in smaller ones.
* Automation of various network operations
* Network monitoring and big data analytics based on network data
* Home consumer experience using WiFi, new home and IOT based products, services for SME
customers like SDWAN, managed WiFi.

INTEGRATED CORONAVIRUS ICU OPENED AT CHENNAI

HOSPITAL
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami declared open an integrated,
modern intensive care mobile unit for Covid treatment at KMC Hospital
through video conference. A release said this is the first of its kind facility
for corona treatment in the country. This unit has been set up by ACT
Fibernet as part of its corporate social responsibility measure.
