Reflection 1 (Individual 15%)

1. Objectives
This individual assignment assesses students at the interim phase of the project. Students will be asked
to reflect on the project journey so far, focusing on what they have learnt about the target
community/market, and how their own personal growth and experiences have been thus far. Students
should also ponder on the challenges ahead and how to overcome them.

2. Task
Students are to write a reflection of no more than 1,500 words, to include the following:
 Overview of project, including personal contributions.
 Learning points about the target community/market, needs/gaps, possible solutions, etc.
 Areas of personal growth, including strengths and areas for improvements.
 Anticipated challenges ahead and how to overcome them.

3. Submission Guidelines
The documents to be submitted & due date are as follows:
 Soft copy to be uploaded on MeL SafeAssign by Friday 11 Dec 2020 before 11:59pm.
 While hard copies are not required, students should check with their respective Project
Supervisor, who will have the discretion to ask for hard copy submissions.

Note: 10% will be deducted for each day that the assignment is late, for a maximum of 7 days (including
Sunday and public holidays); thereafter, it will be given zero marks.

Warning on plagiarism
No part of your assignment must be copied from any other person's work except where you have
properly quoted or paraphrased from other sources and given proper recognition to the sources. If any
plagiarism is found in your assignment, no marks will be awarded for this assignment.
