Holy Texts (Ex): Because of her study of sacred writings, Angela’s paragnostic apostle
levels stack with other class levels for the purpose of turning or rebuking undead and
level-dependent domain abilities. She does not gain such abilities if she does not
already have them, however.
Discern Weakness: Angela chose humans for this ability. The save DC of every
spell that she targets on a human increases by 1.
Mind over Matter: Whenever Angela casts a spell that creates a solid object,
its hardness and hit points each increase by 2. When she casts a spell that
provides an armor bonus, that bonus to AC also increases by 2.
Lore (Ex): Angela can recall legends or information regarding various topics, just like a
bard can with bardic knowledge. To use this ability, she must make a lore check (1d20
+ twice Angela’s paragnostic apostle level + her Int modifier). Success grants her the
same result as a bardic knowledge check would. Having 5 ranks in Knowledge History
provides a +2 bonus. Angela’s Loremaster levels stacks with this ability
Secret: In her studies, Angela stumbled upon all sorts of applicable knowledge and
secrets.
Instant Mastery: 4 ranks of skill in which the character has no ranks. (Survival)
Rune Arcana (Ex) (6/lvl 8): Angela can craft arcane spells as runes. Runes are prepared
alternately from spells one can normally cast per day and are considered bonus spells.
At the start of each day, Angela chooses a number of spells from the sorcerer/wizard
spell list based on her runewriter levels.
Angela can choose two spells at the first level, and gain additional spells as shown on
the table. The maximum level of spell Angela can use, is also shown on the table.
Angela can select a sorcerer/wizard that she knows as a sorcerer with a Spellcraft check
of DC of 10 + Spell level 2x, she select spells she hasn’t learned as a sorcerer but have
in the form of a scroll or noted in a spell book with a Spellcraft check of DC of 10 +
Spell level 3x, she can prepare only one spell of the maximum level, and only one copy
of each spell in any level.
Angela casts a spell prepared in rune form without any somatic component. However, all
spells cast from rune form automatically have a material component (the rune itself). In
casting the spell, the rune is erased from the parchment. In all other ways, spells
prepared in rune form are treated identically to spells prepared in the normal
method. An unused rune does not fade but continues to remain as one of Angela’s
available runes for the day until expended or erased by Angela.
Virtual Rune (Su): Angela has the ability to transfer runes from her parchment to the
air. The virtual rune can be projected up to 5 feet away from her and can be up to 5
ft long and 4 ft wide. Transferring a glyph from parchment into the air requires a full
round action. This ability allows Angela to cast spells that normally comes from the
her person, to instead come from a location in thin air, spells with the range of touch
takes effect when a creature touches the rune, the Angela can choose to activate the
spell immediately or delay till up to the end of the next round (must be decided upon
casting of the rune). Alternatively, this ability can be used on symbol based spells like
Explosive Runes, Glyph of Warding and Symbol of Death to inscribe the symbol into
the air instead of on a book, map, scroll, or similar object bearing written
information. If the spells are casted in this manner Angela can choose whether she
can be affected by the spell or not. A spell casted in this manner can last for up to 1
round/ caster level unless naturally shorter or until discharged.
Share Runes (Ex) (5): Angela can prepare a limited number of runes such that they
can be activated (cast) by any character. The spell's casting time remains the same,
and it is just as effective as a spell cast by Angela herself. She must decide that the
rune can be shared as the spell's level is increased by two, much as if a metamagic
feat had been applied to it. If the one to activate the rune does not have levels in any
class that can normally cast that spell, they must make a Use Magic Device check
similar to a scroll, failure to make the check doesn’t cause the rune to disappear and
can be tried again. Angela can prepare a number of shareable runes each day equal
to her Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). The shared rune can be projected as a
virtual rune allowing others to cast it by touching the said rune.
Metamagic Rune (Ex): Angela can create runes which are effected by a Metamagic
feat. Adding Metamagic to a rune changes the spell level of the rune to the modified
spell level in order to inscribe it. Only 1 metamagic can be placed onto a rune and the
spell cannot exceed the caster’s ability to cast. Metamagic Runes cannot be made
permanent and disappear after usage
Permanent Rune (Ex): Angela knows the secret of inscribing a permanent rune of a
single chosen spell into her flesh. To inscribe a permanent rune, Angela must
permanently sacrifice an arcane spell slot of one level higher than the spell to be
inscribed as a permanent rune, and spend 24 hours inscribing the rune. If the spell
has a costly material component, she must expend resources equal to 20 times the
gp cost of the material component. If it has a costly focus, she must expend
resources equal to the cost of the focus. If the spell has an XP cost, she must spend
XP as if she had cast the spell normally. Once she has inscribed a spell as a
permanent rune, Angela can activate the chosen spell as a spell-like ability (using her
arcane caster level as the caster level). She can use this spell a number of time per
day equal to one-fourth of her caster level (rounded down)
