Framework format for Independent Work Assignment

1. Chosen product: the product that you will create and produce to be offered to the market.

2. 1st Assignment:
Make the Executive Summary related to the Product offered – 1 to 3 pages. Type with Arial Narrow
letter size 12, line spacing of 1.
The Executive Summary shall describe the product offered briefly explaining about what kind of
product, the usage and the benefit for the targeted customers.

3. 2nd Assignment
Make the paper related to the product offered. It has to follow the format of, as follows:
a. Paper shall be type with the letter Arial Narrow, size 12, with the line spacing of 1 ½.
b. Paper shall be made as a business plan related to the product offered. Paper shall contains the
items of:
i. Name of the Product offered.
ii. Short Description of the Product offered (it has to be shorter that the Product Executive
Summary).
iii. Target Market of the Product offered – include the Segmentation and Positioning analysis
of the Product offered.
iv. Need and Want of the Target Market related to the Product offered.
v. Estimated possible available demand related to the Product offered.
vi. Product Attributes of the Product offered.
vii. Price and Production Cost Analysis related to the Product offered.
viii. Marketing Concept apply to market the Product offered.
ix. Selling Concept apply to market the Product offered – Promotion Program apply in the
marketing strategy.
x. SWOT Analysis of your product.
xi. Overall Marketing Strategy analysis for the Product offered.
xii. Conclusion

4. 3rd Assignment
Make the Advertisement video related to the Product offered.
Process:
a. Referring to the 2nd Assignment that you have made above, you have described the Product
Attributes of the Product offered. Among the items of the Product Attributes, you may choose
1 up to 3 items of Product Attributes to be shown in your ad movie as tool to promote your
product.
b. Video shall be made in a short time, as a plan to be registered in TV (cost consciousness for the
ad shall be considered)
c. Video shall be prepared together with the 4th Assignment (Powerpoint for Presentation) to be
played before or after the presentation.
d. You may make flyer and or brochure in order to get extra bonus for your mark.

5. 4th Assignment
a. Make Powerpoint presentation for the Product Offered.
b. Prepare for the Presentation.
c. Perform the presentation according to the turn determined by fair lottery.
6. During the presentation, each of students are encouraged to be active in the class. Active attitude
shall be rewarded with special code which will be calculated to add the individual mark of each
students.
