 "The Disease that Teaches us"

By Aaliyah Gabrielle B. Tangunan

“Patience is not the ability to wait, but the

ability to keep a good attitude while
waiting.” We can all tell that we have times
in which we get really impatient.

Impatient; Im; a single syllable that makes

people believe that it's not worth to wait.
Most of them even break the rules, some
even ruin their lives because of that.

That word is what we need to practice in

this Pandemic. Imagine there are over
thousands of deaths, millions
of cases and that’s on counting.

Some of them may say that it's okay,

that's not a big deal, over millions already survived
and recovered from it so it wasn't that hard.
But they don't know what they're saying.

The front liners, they're offering their lives

to save people. What if you're a front liner?
Can you imagine how cruel it would be?
Do you realize how exhausted they are?

While some of us are there,

 roaming around everywhere even though
there’s a community quarantine. Why can't you
follow a simple rule? It's just to not go out.

In this Pandemic, God is teaching us a lot of things.

We should learn from those little things like
having Patience, having more Hope
and most especially Faith in God.

Because these days there’s no vaccine, no

Antidote, there’s nothing we can do so,
Worrying won’t help us. But, always
remember that God is in control.

This Pandemic may have been a burden to all of us,

But we learned a lot from it so please
fight for yourselves and be careful.
I know that God has a better plan for us.
