How do I cancel my Xfinity Mobile service? MARCH 27, 2020
We won't be the same without you, but if you
really want to cancel your service with Xfinity Mobile, here's how.
Your Xfinity Mobile
number can go with you If you're leaving Xfinity Mobile for another carrier, you can just start your service with your new carrier. Nothing else to do. When you transfer your number, your Xfinity Mobile service will automatically be cancelled.
Don't cancel while
transferring a number If you're transferring your number, don’t cancel your Xfinity Mobile service before activation with your new carrier. It will stop the transfer request and forfeit your number — we'd hate for that to happen.
After you've canceled
service We're all about being fair. If you have the By the Gig data option and cancel your Xfinity Mobile service, you'll only pay for data used between your last paid account statement and the date you cancel. (Check out your customer agreement for details on how we calculate data charges.) If you have Unlimited data and cancel, your data charges for the line you are canceling will be pro-rated based on where you are in your current bill cycle.
If you've canceled your Xfinity Mobile service
and still owe a balance on your device payment plan, you have a couple options:
Pay off the device in full, then contact us to
unlock it. This is required if you plan to bring your device to your new carrier. Learn more about unlocking an Xfinity Mobile device. Continue with the remaining monthly device payments, as long as you maintain at least one other Xfinity service—Xfinity Internet, Xfinity TV, or Xfinity Voice. If you cancel all Xfinity services, the remaining balance on your device will be due with your final Xfinity Mobile bill.
