CAMBRIDGE – GCE ‘O’/‘A’ LEVELS EXAMINATIONS

APRIL/MAY/JUNE 2021 - PRIVATE CANDIDATES
1. Online Entries
Candidates should make their entries online from Tuesday 01 December to Thursday 10 December
2020 by accessing the MES website (http://mes.intnet.mu) as follows:
 Type the address http://mes.intnet.mu to access the MES website.
 Go to the Top menu on the Home page displayed.
 Select E-Services
Click on the link Cambridge GCE April/May/June 2021 – Entries for private candidates

2. Online Application
Candidates submitting applications online should download their ‘Statement of entries’ for record
purposes.

3. List of Subjects and Syllabuses

Candidates are advised to consult the list of subjects available and their corresponding syllabuses from
the MES website (http://mes.intnet.mu) as follows:
a) Subjects
 Type the address http://mes.intnet.mu to access the MES website.
 Go to the Top menu on the Home page displayed.
 Select Examinations/Secondary/Cambridge GCE.
 Go to the Section April/May/June 2021.

4. Examination Fees and Payment

The fees payable are as follows:

Candidates are requested to effect payment, from Tuesday 01 December to Thursday 10 December
2020, solely on the MES account below:

Note: (i) If payment is effected at the Bank, candidates should insert their names on the bank
deposit voucher.

(ii) If online payment is effected through Internet Banking, SBM Mobile app or MCB Juice,
candidates should insert their names in the remarks section of the transaction screen.
Kindly send a screenshot of the transaction to the MES on the following email address:
cs.cie.section@mesonline.mu .

6. Applicants who are under 18 years and who do not have the School Bus Pass should call at the MES
on Thursday 10 December between 09:00 and 14:00 to produce the following documents:

(i) The new A4 Birth Certificate (with NIC) and

(ii) two recent passport-size photographs bearing their name and signature and countersigned
byone person who has known them personally for at least two years and who is either
Member of the National Assembly, Medical Practitioner, Barrister-at-Law, Attorney-at-Law,
Notary Public, Bank Manager, Principal of a recognized Educational Institution, Police
Officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent or Officer in the Public Service not
below the rank of Assistant Secretary.

The person countersigning the photographs should give his/her own particulars as follows:
