Release Note

Abstract

The intention of the release notes is to supply both internal and external
customers with information about the contents of the delivery. This information
should be used as a reference for software and hardware revisions, changes,
contents, and references to other documents where greater detail is required. The
purpose is not to duplicate information but to flag important information and
where possible reference other documents that need to be studied to ensure
successful implementation of the package.

3.1 SW Identity

under the terms of GPL respectively LGPL as published by the Free Software
Foundation.

To fulfill the GPL terms, the corresponding source code can be delivered upon
customer request through SW Gateway.

3.2.3 Handling of Security Vulnerabilities in FOSS components

Monitoring of security vulnerabilities in Free and Open Source Software


components is an ongoing process. Vulnerabilities are typically not addressed by
stepping the version of a component, but by patching the current version of the
component. Therefore, it is not possible to rely on version banners to assess
vulnerability to certain security threats. Please contact PLM Helpdesk for any
specific security related questions.

3.4 Security fixes

Security vulnerabilities are continuously monitored, and relevant fixes have been
applied.

3.5 System Level

This SCU release is supported by ENM 19.04 and later releases.

It also supports the following ESCM versions:

- CXP 902 0902/1 R13A, R13B

SCU supports new releases of ESCM based on these SW’s for 18 months after its
own release. This means that ESCM versions released until 21.Q3 will work with
this revision unless they are configured with new functionality not known to this
SCU version.

This product does not add any HW requirements.
