COVID-19 Production Safety

Social Distancing During production, the crew will adhere to social distancing wherever possible

wearing face coverings before and after the interview.
Travel Consider methods of travel and where possible avoid public transport and limit
car sharing in line with current advice.
Location Ensure the filming location has good ventilation options to maximise the
impact of social distancing, e.g. opening windows and doors frequently, or if
using ventilation systems ensure that they are correctly operating and
adjusted. All filming to be conducted in open places. All participants to follow
any one-way systems.
Production time Production will follow a set schedule to limit exposure, with a secured arrival
time. Productions should consider allocating time for appropriate cleaning
processes.
Equipment Schedule use of hire equipment and limit it to agreed crew members. No
circumstances should equipment be shared. All equipment to be cleaned after
interview.
Interviews Conducted interviews will follow social distancing guidelines. The placement
of the interview will be less confrontational, with the interviewer not facing
the interviewee directly.
Documents Any legal documents will adopt paperless working, including digital signing,
where possible.
