Introduction:
Unemployment is one of the serious issues in practically all the nations of the world.It has been
the most predictable issue which is looking by all mechanically progressed just as helpless
countries.Unemployment is characterized as the state of having no work or being jobless or
extent of individuals which can work and effectively looking through positions however they
can't discover it.The government is focused on consummation joblessness by making work for
30 million individuals by 2030.Unemployment rate is most noteworthy among taught youth of
the country.The adolescent joblessness rate has now increased to 10.6%.As a population,our
country has the most elevated number of youth right now.But we do not able to make full use of
them.62% of Bangladeshi workers employed abroad are unskilled,37% are semi-skilled and only
2% are skilled.As a result,Bangladeshi workers are facing extreme competition in the
international labor market and are falling behind.The root cause of these problems is that we are
not able to make the able-bodied people efficient with the necessary education or training for the
right job.
The nature of unemployment in Bangladesh:

Unemployment problem has become a great concern all over the world.But nowhere in the
world,this problem is so acute as in Bangladesh.Some types of the unemployment are bellow:

Unemployment in Bangladesh is a serious socio-economic problem,this problem is not caused by
any single cause.There are numerous reasons for this issue.The reasons for unemployment are
below:
1.Rapid population growth
2.Nature based agriculture system
3.Underdeveloped Economy
4.Undeveloped industrialization process
5.Agricultural Dependence
6.Extinction of cottage industry
7.Illiteracy and lack of technical knowledge
9.Lack of capital
10.Lack of employment for women

Government projects work to eradicate unemployment problem:
The Government of Bangladesh established the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation(PKSF) in 1990
with the aim of alleviating poverty through job creation.PKSF is an organization under the
Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance.Along with the government,PKSF is
working to improve the living standards of the poor and extremely poor people of the country. 
PKSF is conducting poverty alleviation,human resource development,education and health and
technical training activities through its affiliates.PKSF is playing a role in eliminating the
problem of unemployment in the country by creating employment in rural areas by creating
small entrepreneurs through financing and sustainable training to the poor3.Containing the soul
of progress surprisingly different projects for the improvement of human pride, for example,

flourishing projects,restoration of beggars,development of sports and social exercises,
advancement of old individuals,arrangement of grants for praiseworthy understudies from
helpless families,implementation of environmental change alleviation etc.In addition,PKSF has
been working resolutely close by the Public authority of the Individuals' Republic of Bangladesh
through different projects to help the usage of the Economical Improvement Objective (SDG).At
present,more than 13 million families have made satisfactory progress through various activities
of PKSF.
Government Banks is giving loans to the unemployed:
According to the statement given by the Prime Minister,the specialized 'Karmasangsthan Bank'
of the public sector is giving loans to the unemployed without collateral.This loan is being given
to agro-based and small scale industries especially to create employment for the unemployed. 
Besides,they are also giving loans to do business.The interest rate on the loan is 11 to 13
percent.The loan has to be repaid in installments.Apart from this, the bank is also giving loans to
those who are unemployed at special times or small businessmen who want to create more new
jobs by expanding their business.No collateral is required for most loans.In the case of the
unemployed,the main certificate of educational qualification is taken as personal guarantee
security.In other cases,personal guarantees as well as business matters are taken as collateral.The
loan amount is minimum 5 lakh to maximum 25 lakh taka 4.In excess of 60% of the nation's
workforce is occupied with agriculture.If agribusiness can be set up as a beneficial area in
Bangladesh,it will be conceivable to reduce provincial neediness and improve the expectations
for everyday comforts of most of the country's population.The principle objective of the
Bangladesh Horticulture Bank is to guarantee genuine monetary advancement through
enhancement of farming items, commercialization and fortifying of rustic economy through
agro-based and improvement of agro-based exercises and giving vital credit offices to agro-based
ventures and bungalow industry business people.

The government has taken different steps to provide technical education to the educated
unemployed in the country.To this end,the Service of Work and Labor just as the Division of
Youth have been directing normal preparing in different exchange courses for jobless
youth.Even on the off chance that they don't get an administration job,those who have a degree in
professional or specialized subjects can get independent work by applying the obtained training.
Banks are additionally now giving advance offices to actually instructed people.Just as labor
taught in specialized training assumes a main part in the improvement of the country,it is
likewise conceivable to acquire a great deal of unfamiliar trade by sending out this labor abroad.
Government employment policy based on some issues:
1.Education in schools:In all levels of education,the Bengali language must be taught as well as
the use of standard English education and language.The scope and quality of technical and
vocational education will be increased which can be used by the students to be employed as soon
as they complete their education.
2.Higher and Vocational Education:Opportunities for higher education will be increased.The
scope of online education will be increased for the expansion of higher education.
3.Career Guidance and Counseling:Industry and employers in the public-private sector will be
closely involved in the development and provision of career guidance and counseling services.
4.Enhancing Employability of Youth:An integrated plan will be adopted for the development and
utilization of human resources.
5.Agriculture:In order to attract and interest the youth in agriculture as the largest sector of
employment,the introduction of modern mechanized and more productive institutional and
technical based agricultural activities will be encouraged.
6.Tourism Sector:Increase productivity and professionalism in tourism industry and hotel
management.
7.ICT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO):ICT Application and ICT Support Sector  Under
this,It will be encouraged on average.etc5

Ways to eradicating the problem of unemployment in Bangladesh:

Unemployment is recognized as a reasonable issue in the financial existence of Bangladesh.
Therefore,the arrangement of this issue is significant for the government assistance of the
country.Unemployment issue in Bangladesh can be addressed in the accompanying manners:
1.Development of economic structure:We have to create employment opportunities by
developing weak and shaky economic structure.
2.Industrial development:It is not possible to solve the unemployment problem of Bangladesh
without industrial development.
3.Development of cottage industries:In order to eradicate unemployment in Bangladesh,revival
of cottage industries is essential.
4.Population Control:Unemployment is on the rise as there are no employment opportunities
compared to the rate at which the country's population is growing,so the problem of
unemployment needs to be solved by controlling the population.
5.Changes in the agricultural system:Most of our lands are harvested only once a
year.Unemployment can be eliminated in these lands by arranging cultivation of different crops
in phases.
6.Employment of women:Women occupy half of our manpower.But due to the curtain-customs,
superstitions,etc.,a large part of them are confined to the house.
7.Export of Manpower Abroad:It is possible to earn huge foreign exchange through manpower
export and it can eliminate unemployment6.
8.Creation of self-employment projects:In order to take self-employment projects through small
capital investment,it is necessary to try to solve unemployment by providing financial assistance
to rural and urban people.
9.Formulation of National Employment Policy:In order to solve unemployment,it is necessary to
formulate a national employment policy in Bangladesh7.
10.Freelancing and Outsourcing sectors:It is vast marketplace which is on online basis.Through
training,government should build skilled manpower for this sector.

Conclusion:

Unemployment is an incredible revile to a nation.We can't expect the advancement of our nation
leaving its large number individuals joblessness to make due as a proud country.The government
is working to eradicate unemployment problem but it is much less than the demand.If this
situation continues,the productivity in the workplace will decrease in the future which will
reduce the growth of the country.As a result,our advancement towards turning into a created
country as per Vision 2021 and Vision 2041 will be hampered.In order to solve this problem,all
the necessary steps have to be taken to make all the unemployed people of our country efficient
and professional.
