Section 1: The constitution shall be ratified every two years by a majority vote of the
members attending a meeting.
CLUB BY-LAWS
I. NAME
The organization shall be known as University of Perpetual Help – Molino Photography
Interest Club (UPH-M PIC) and is incorporated under the laws of University of Perpetual
Help – Molino Campus, Senior High School Department as a recognized student
organization.
II. OBJECTIVES
The rationale behind the foundation of the UPH-M PIC lies on its main goal which is to serve
as one of the university’s frontrunners in developing individuals who will serve as the
embodiment of the University of Perpetual Help System – DALTA’s philosophy, mission and
vision statement.
III. MEMBERSHIP
Membership is OPEN TO ALL Senior High School Students University of Perpetual Help –
Molino Campus and indiscriminate on the basis of disability, race, color, creed, religion,
gender, sexual orientation and nationality.
A. OFFICERS
President
The President is responsible for chairing the Board of Directors and overseeing the
work of the Club officers, trainer and committees of the Club. The President also
represents the Club to the public and assists in seeking funding sources, including
grants for the club.
Vice President
The Vice President shall serve as the constitutional replacement once the president
is incapable of handling the presidency or has been dismissed from office and shall
perform tasks assigned to him/her by the President or Club Moderator.
Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for club correspondence, checking of attendance and
taking minutes during board meetings and ensuring that the list of club members is
updated.
Treasurer
The Treasurer maintains accurate and current financial records, is responsible for
cash receipts and disbursements. The treasurer keeps a current list of club members
and orders necessary materials that the club needs.
Auditor
The Auditor keeps all the receipts of the things that the club purchased. The auditor
is responsible in computing the fund of the club.
Business Manager
The Business Manager is in charge of looking for the materials needed for the club.
The business will assist the treasurer and the auditor in buying the needed materials
for the Club.
Governor
The Governor’s duty is to represent his/her class during organizational meetings and
is responsible for the dissemination of information for his/her class.

V. Elections
The election shall be held every 2nd week of July and shall be done using a two-party system
where a candidate for presidency must be a Grade 12 student and the rest of the positions
are available for Grade 11 and Grade 12 students. Elected officers must receive majority of
voters to be elected and shall take office a week after the election.
In the event of a resignation or dismissal from office, the replacements will be made and
approved by the Board of Directors using the constitutional hierarchy. Elections shall be
conducted at the annual meeting. The Board of Directors will present a slate of officers and
agenda for that meeting no later than one week in advance to the membership. Nominations
may be made from the floor, and election shall be by a majority of those members in
attendance. Any member may request that the vote be by secret ballot. If no candidate
receives a majority of the votes cast, there shall be an immediate run-off between two
candidates who received the largest number of votes.
VI. Meetings
The UPH-M PIC shall have three meeting categories
1) Monthly Meeting - to be conducted once a month to be scheduled by the Senior
Adviser/Club Moderator to discuss actions related to the activities
set for that particular month.
2) Semestral Meeting - to be conducted once every semester to assess and evaluate the
activities during the past semester and will serve as the
preparation for the incoming semester.
3) Special Meeting - Meetings that are called as the need arises.
