BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk was founded on January 23, 1995 and is headquartered in Jakarta,
Indonesia. PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk is an Indonesia-based company primarily engaged in operating
various brands of retail stores in Indonesia. Apart from Indonesia, MAPI also operates in various
neighboring countries, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and others. In 2016, MAPI also
expanded to Vietnam through the opening of the first Zara outlet. In Indonesia alone, there are more than
2,300 MAPI retail outlets spread across 71 major cities. Major business activities of the Group,
comprising the Company and its subsidiaries, are classified into four segments: Retail sales, which
focuses on the trading of clothes, sports equipment and accessories, as well as toys; Department stores;
Cafes and restaurant, and Others, including property development, investment holding, book store
operation and handicraft trading.
MAPI has brand distribution licenses (shops), including: The Athlete’s Foot (toko eceran),
Adidas, Nine West, Wilson, Oakley, Asics, Speedo, Kipling, Bandai, Oshkosh B’Gosh, H2O, Next,
Airwalk, Rockport, Nautica, Lacoste, Barbie, Diadora, Wallis, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Topman,
Topshop, US Kids Golf, Converse, Walt Disney dan Pandora. MAPI has licensed brand distribution
(shops) through its subsidiaries, including: retail sales (Marks & Spencer, Zara, Zara Home, Massimo
Dutti, Pull & Bear, Carter's OshKosh B'gosh, Blanco, Camper, Linea, Payless Shoesource , Stradivarius,
Bershka, Spanx, Alpure H2O, Crabtree & Evelyn, Brooks Brothers, Sephora, Penshoppe, Gildan,
Camaieu and Cotton On), department stores (Sogo, Lotus, Debenhams, Seibu, Alun-alun Indonesia,
Galeries Lafayette and Foodhall) , cafes and restaurants (Chatter Box, Starbucks, Pizza Marzano, Burger
King, Cold Stone Creamery, Krispy Kreme, Paul Bakery & Resto and Genki Sushi), bookstores
(Kinokuniya Book Store) and others (Sunter Mall).

(PSBB).

to continue to serve loyal customers through online delivery services or delivery services in accordance
with applicable standard operating procedures.

in the current market situation can cause hardship for MAPI to manage their stock effectively, which
resulted in an increase of remaining stocks in the inventory. So MAP communicates intensely with brand
