Acknowledgement

I sincerely and earnestly express my heartfelt thanks to my guide Dr. Nagendra Sohani for his
contribution in my research endeavor. He has not only ignited my research quotient but has also
channelized my inquisitiveness in the right direction. I can never thank him enough for tapping
my potential in the direction of research and exposing me to newer learning horizons. I cannot
move further, unless I acknowledge his worthy contribution in giving shape to this research work.
He had always been present in all pursuits and had extended help as and when required, right
from writing the proposal of research to final framing of the thesis and all the challenges that
came in between.
I am thankful to Dr. Tokekar, the Centre Head of the institute for his timely cooperation and
facilitation of the work. I am a indebted to Dr. Ashish Tiwari, Head of Mechanical Engineering
department of the institute for providing requisite support as and when required.
1 am grateful to the management of Acropolis Faculty of Management & Research, Indore for
extending their full support and cooperation for my research work. I thank Prof. Sandeep Singh,
Director of the institute for enabling me to carry out this research work. I owe it to Dr. Jitendra
Sharma and Dr. Vishal Geete, my colleagues at work for lending a helping hand as and when
required. I extend my gratitude to the entire Acropolis family in helping me out in the research
task. Thanks for sharing my work and responsibilities, when I was busy doing this research.
I also extend my heartiest thankfulness to Mr. Rajan Baweja, M. D. Techforce, for facilitating me
in data collection from various industries. It is only by virtue of his support that I could approach
various industrialists for data collection. I am thankful to all the people from the industry who
contributed their valuable time in filling up my questionnaire.
I am greatly indebted to Dr. A. K. Chitale, Dr. R. K. Shrivastava, Dr. P. K. Chande, Dr. R. C.
Gupta and Dr. G.D. Thakkar for directing me towards research, inspiring and encouraging me to
do my best in all that I do. I profoundly thank Late Dr. D. Joshi for being a mentor in my life and
making me what I am today.

Last but not the least I am thankful to my family, friends and relatives for unconditionally
supporting me. Special thanks to my daughter ‘Inaaya’ for understanding me and not complaining
