1. Gender cultures affect both men and women′s decisions and behavior at work.

It
influences the way that people of different genders communicate. Girls are fond in
playing house while boys tend to play more on competitive team. Gender cultures are
primarily created and sustained by interaction with others.

2. A communication culture is a group of people with an existing set of norms regarding


how they communicate with each other. These cultures can be categorized as masculine
or feminine. A good internal communication culture allows employees, leaders, and
managers to enjoy strong lines of communication ensuring that everyone is on the same
path.

3. Gender is a key social stratifier: As a power relation it affects vulnerability to ill health


and the decision-making space and economic power that people have to tackle illness.
This gender social stratifier refers to the category in which people belongs to their gender
roles. It influences a person’s risk from exposure and vulnerability to different illnesses
and diseases.

4. Masculine people and feminine people communicate with people of their own gender in
different ways. Masculine people form friendships with other masculine people based on
common interests, while feminine people build friendships with other feminine people
based on mutual support. However, both genders initiate opposite-gender friendships
based on the same factors. Generally speaking, feminine people communicate more and
prioritize communication more than masculine people.

5. Sexual terminologies are terms to describe a man and a woman. These terms will help
you safe and smart about the decisions you make. Gender identity and sexual orientation
are not the same for this will make a person thinks of himself or herself. This also
describes a person’s enduring sexual, romantic, and/or emotional attraction to any other
person.

6. Gender socialization is the process through which children learn about the social
expectations, attitudes and behaviors typically associated with boys and girls. This is a
process by which individuals are taught how to behave in public in accordance with their
assigned gender. The society expects different attitudes towards boys and girls, the boys
are raised to conform gender roles as well as to girls. This also a way to learn the
cultures, norms and beliefs of others.
