Core Subject Description: This course deals with the concepts underlying principles, processes and implementation of a business plan. The
preliminaries of this course include the following: 1) discussion on the relevance of the course: 2) explanation of the concepts of common
competencies; relative to the course; and 4) exploration of the career. Culminating Performance Standard: The learner independently or with
his/her classmates starts and operates a business according to the business plan and presents a terminal report of its operation.
Big Performance Task: Together with three of your teammates, you will implement the business plan that you have depended under a panel
professors and business practitioners. You are given a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of one month to implement your business plan
and prepare you implementation report. Your team should implement the business plan and must come up with a report that covers the
following: Implementation results on the following plan-marketing, operations and sales, the actual accounting entries and actual financial
statements and the overall interpretation of the business results and strategic plan. Tasks should be distributed among team members and
based on member competency. The implementation report should be professional looking, concise and relevant. It will be thoroughly
reviewed and ensured that that it is consistent with the business plan depended.
