Objective and use of SAS
• Obj.-:To penetrate on Sentinel-Asia System (operation)
training for disaster management.
• Use:- There are various governmental and non-governmental
organization working in this field differentiating with procedure
and technology as per available resources. Thus SAS can be

• This is suitable and appropriate time to
come together by using Sentinel-Asia
platform for disaster management
purpose.
Laging:
• Do not know.
• Different organization and no practice of sharing
geo-information.
• Very less awareness in this field.
• No pre management for disaster especially like
our country due to budgetary problems.
• High cost of technology.
• No attitude to change from conventional to new
technology. generation gap)
• Do not know the accessibility of satellite imagery
data.
Future Target:

• Facilitate NGIIP for data sharing platform.

• Facilitate Digital-Asia for data sharing
internationally.
