I. READING COMPREHENSION

THE MISTERY OF THE SPHINX


Read the text and choose the best answer to replace the spaces with numbers. (Lea el texto y escoja la

The sphinx, a statue of a lion body and a human head, is considered a symbol of (1). Aspects such as who

goes on four feet in the morning, on two at noon, and upon three in the evening? Oedipus solved the riddle

cane in old age.
