GPE2 (8031) – Fitness Exercises

1.) For me, it’s a Yes. Why? It’s simply because this mobility training can also be done in
different fields such as during workout or during exercises or even in an athletic trainings,
this is not only exclusive for itself but for other field of as well. Why this training can also
be done in different fields? It’s because this is a huge help to the people in different fields
of trainings especially for the athletes since they need to maintain or improve their
strength and speed, and aside from that, mobility trainings can also help them avoid
getting sprain or minor injuries or it simply decreases their risk of getting injury because
this makes their joints move freely and makes them more strong and flexible. Mobility
training can help people eliminates the muscle stiffness that they’ve been experiencing
and it can also help them improve their agility. A lot of athletes uses mobility trainings
before or during their workouts and practice games just like NBA players, football players,
volleyball players and other outdoor games’ players. I’ve actually seen them performing
the mobility training or exercises multiple times, such as active straight leg raise,
quadruped thoracic rotations, ankle mobility, hamstring mobility, groin mobility drill, trunk
stability push up, hurdle step and shoulder mobility. Just by that example, I can now
conclude that this training is not only for the mobility training itself but it can also be
incorporated to the different types of trainings.

2.) There are several illnesses that can be prevented if we will have a proper mobility
training or exercises such as lower back pain, upper back pain, knee pain, joint pain, and
any types of muscle pain, arthritis, and even sprain. These ailments can be prevented
even if we will only just perform the basic mobility exercises before starting our day or
doing some work such as squatting, ankle mobility, hip rotation, hamstring mobility, side
lunges and shoulder mobility. Since we are now in the middle of pandemic, where our
movements are very limited and we can’t even go outside without quarantine pass, it is
more possible that we can easily get body aches since we can’t move freely outside our
houses due to the health protocols that our government imposed to avoid the spread of
coronavirus in the country. But we can actually prevent getting ailments while we are at
our own houses since we can do some mobility exercises as long as we have a space to
do the exercise. A great example for this is my father, my father is 51 years old and even
just a little movements like pushing heavy things and doing some “father works” makes
his body and joint aches that’s he decided to do some proper mobility exercises before
doing something to improve his strength since his also getting older. Just always
remember to do the mobility training/exercises properly to avoid any worse complications
and you should be gentle on yourself in doing this. These ailment or minor illnesses will
be prevented once you will able to perform the mobility exercises properly because if not,
there’s a big possibility that it might cause a mild to severe injury.
