Guidelines for Inquiry


Preparation
The following guidelines for preparing
an inquiry to the panel will expedite
consideration and response to the inquirer.
Each inquiry should be limited to a single
recommendation of SNT-TC-1A. Inquiries
concerning multiple recommendations of
SNT-TC-1A or unrelated subjects may be
returned for further clarification.
The specific question to be answered by
the panel should be distinctly set apart
from the body of the letter and in a
condensed, precise, question format,
omitting superfluous background
information and, if possible, asked in such
a manner that a “yes” or “no” (with a short
explanation) would be an acceptable reply.
