COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is designed to expose the students to the basic principles, theories, concepts, practices and importance of
Management within the dynamic context to face complexities and challenges at the work environment.
Matakuliah ini dirancang untuk mengekspos mahasiswa pada dasar, prinsip-prinsip, teori-teori, konsep, praktek dan
pentingnya Dasar-Dasar Manajemen dalam konteks yang dinamis untuk menghadapi kompleksitas dan tantangan di
lingkungan kerja.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVE(S)


At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
 Understand the basics and scope of management
 Know the different functions of management as applied within the dynamic context of the work environment
 Develop sensitivity to the trends and issues taking place in an organization
 Design a strategic plan for managing an organization.

Pada akhir mata kuliah,maha siswa diharapkan untuk :
• Memahami dasar-dasar dan ruang lingkup Manajemen
• Mengetahui fungsi yang berbeda dari manajemen yang diterapkan dalam konteks dinamis dari lingkungan kerja
• Mengembangkan kepekaan terhadap tren dan isu-isu yang terjadi di suatu organisasi
• Desain rencana strategis untuk mengelola sebuah organisasi .

CLASS POLICY
1. Mahasiswa wajib masuk kelas dengan keadaan siap untuk belajar dan berpakaian sopan serta tidak memakai sandal.
1. Students should attend the class with readiness to the course in a polite manner and must not wear sandals.
2. Mahasiswa hadir dengan membawa buku pegangan utama yang telah ditentukan (asli)
Students should bring the text book in class
3. Mahasiswa hadir tepat waktu dan menandatangani daftar presensi. Mahasiswa dianggap terlambat apabila hadir setelah 15 menit kelas
berlangsung.
Students should attend the class on time. Students will be considered late after 15 minutes of the starting period.
4. Absensi lebih dari 2 kali dianggap telah gagal dalam mata kuliah tesebut
Students can only be absent twice. Students with more than 2 absence will be considered failed in that subject.
5. Jika mahasiswa tidak hadir kuliah karena sakit dengan rawat inap atau kematian anggota keluarga inti maka ia wajib memberikan
dokumen pendukung.
Students should provide all the necessary documents for every absence caused by sickness (was hospitalized) or the death of
immediate family member.
6. Dilarang menggunakan telepon seluler atau gadget tanpa sepertujuan dosen/ untuk keperluan perkuliahan di dalam kelas.
Do not use mobile phone or any gadget without the approval of the lecturer cause it distrupts the learning process inside the class
