PowerCase
PowerCase is a smartphone case
designed to harvest and convert excess
heat from smartphones to useful
electricity which is then stired in a
battery. This aims to make a case that
allows the phone to solely depend on
the case for its power.

02
Research Questions
This study aims to make the life of people-on-the-go convenient and
less hassle and to lessen the use of too much electricity. Specifically,
this aims to answer the following:

Is the heat from the mobile device

enough to be converted into electricity?

What would be the highest amount of

voltage generated and the lowest
amount of voltage?

Will there always be an increase in

electrical voltage in the Battery if the
PowerCase is used on a regular basis?

Can the mobile device depend solely

on the PowerCase for its electrical
energy?

Automatic Fish Feeder with text-messaging

function using Arduino
This automatic fish feeder has a texting function with the use of arduino which informs
the owner that his fishes were already fed. This aims to give the owner comfort and
assurance that his/her pets will be fed at the right time with the right amount.

05
Research Questions
Can the automatic feeding device
distribute a constant and amount of
food for the fish?

Will the device be efficient and

convenient to use in feeding the fish?

Is the operating module of the device

enough to control the action of the
feeding?

Will the automatic feeding device send

response after the distribution of
food?

PowerLid
The PowerLid is a lid that can produce electricity by converting wasted heat energy (from
the lid when cooking ) to useful electrical energy with the use of a Thermoelectric
generator. It works day and night, rain or shine to bring you the electricity you need to
keep charging. Cooking equates to storing, as long as you've cooked with it the energy
stored will be available anytime, anywhere.

08
Research Questions
This study aims to lessen the use of too much electricity by harnessing
wasted energy and for electricity to be available wherever you go.
Specifically, this aims to answer the following:

What would be the highest amount of

voltage generated and the lowest
amount of voltage?

Is the heat produced by the lid enough

to power/charge several handheld
devices or larger devices such as
tablets?

Can electrical devices fully depend on

PowerLid for its power supply?Can
electrical devices fully depend on
