Theater review.

The Hamlet. The performance of the Hamlet was produced at National Theater Live
in 2015. Hamlet's father is dead and Denmark has crowned Hamlet's uncle the new
king. Consumed by grief, Hamlet struggles to exact revenge, with devastating
consequences.
The main cast is Benedict Cumberbatch.
The plot of the performance. The ghost of the King of Denmark tells his son Hamlet
to avenge his murder by killing the new king, Hamlet's uncle. Hamlet feigns madness,
contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge. His uncle, fearing for his life, also
devises plots to kill Hamlet. The play ends with a duel, during which the King, Queen,
Hamlet's opponent and Hamlet himself are all killed.
As the son of his father, Hamlet must avenge his family's honor, to kill Claudius, who
not only poisoned the brother of the king, but he was guilty of the sin of "incest". He
breeds only evil around him. Hamlet’s trouble is that he does not want to be the
successor of evil - in fact, to eradicate evil; Hamlet will have to apply the same evil. It
is difficult to step on this path. Hero is suffering, the spirit of the father calls for
revenge, the inner voice of the stop "action of evil."
Hamlet is able to be determined - he kills Polonius, thinking that he is king.
Hamlet thinks not just about to repay the personal injustices or just revenge for
murdered father - his soul need to battle with the world's evil.
He - a man of his age, which bears its duality. On the one hand, Hamlet realizes that
the man - the crown of all living things, the nature of decoration; on the other - it
makes sure that people not far away from the animal.
Hamlet is convinced that the afterlife does not exist and at the same time convinced of
the opposite: Ghosts words are true. Hamlet can act and he acts, but his torn
conscience and doubt he is ready for revenge and inactive; it cannot decide on one
murder, and his behavior involves the death of those people who would not have to be
punished. From the beginning to the end of the play, the impeccably constructed line
of the role of Hamlet makes one admire. Penetration by grief from the death of his
father, betrayal of his mother, beloved girl does not leave him. The weak-willed,
unhappy Ophelia performed by Sian Brook at the end of the performance causes pity
and a sense of hopelessness. A darting queen incapable of a hard decision, torn by
betrayal and love for her son.
Actors playing on the stage to the last drop and emotion gave themselves, it was not
possible to accuse anyone of vulgarity, tune, antics. They as a whole in an unusually
harmonious ensemble gave the immortal work of Shakespeare.
The performance is good with spectacular inserts between scenes - background
modern music, video installations, shadows running around the hall and people.
Emotions of actors, their actions, costumes, sets, lively and dynamic game,
atmosphere and so on give you an unforgettable experience.
I believe that this tragedy can be set more often, as it is relevant and interesting at all
times.
