The heart is the center of the cardiovascular system. The heart pumps blood to all
the cells of the body through the blood vessels. The blood carries the oxygen that
the cells needed. Cardiovascular diseases is a group of problems that occur when
the heart and blood vessels are not functioning as they should. It is fatal, so it is
necessary to take proper care in due time.
Symptoms of heart disease vary depending on what type of heart disease you may
have. However, there are circumstances that the person may experience difficulty in
breathing or shortness of breath, feeling sick or vomiting, feeling light-headed or
faint, breaking into a cold sweat and becoming pale. Women are more likely to have
shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting and back or jaw pain. If you experience these
symptoms you are advised to seek medical help immediately. There are many
factors that triggers any heart diseases. An unhealthy diet is the key reason for heart
diseases. The consumption of food rich in fats and bad cholesterol is the reason for
formation of atherosclerosis and improper blood flow through the arteries
respectively. Atherosclerosis is a thick plaque that is formed in the arteries, it
prevents the blood flow and hinders the proper functioning of the heart. The other
reasons that contribute to heart diseases are lack of exercise, excessive smoking,
drugs, consumption of alcohol, unhealthy lifestyle and most importantly high level of
stress.
Fortunately, there are many things you can do to reduce your chances of getting
heart diseases. Generally, all exercise prevents any heart diseases but considering
cardio and swimming really helpful as it helps to supply blood to all parts of the body
and if you add light strength it will increase insulin sensitivity so helpful for reducing
all diseases. But your overall lifestyle should be healthy so you need to eat regularly
but not too much. The stronger and healthier your lifestyle habits, you will add more
wellness and vitality to your general life and health.
