Lauren has a built a great rapport with the students and all students enjoy having
conversations with her. Lauren demonstrates knowledge and understanding of
strategies for differentiating teaching to meet the specific learning needs of students
across the full range of abilities. All lessons are aimed at the students learning
levels, group work is based on their individuals needs and levels of learning.
Constant critical feedback is always given to each student. Satisfactory

Lauren is very competent to plan and teach a variety of lessons, her confidence has
grown more and more as she taught various lessons. Sometimes challenging with
both classes and with the behaviour needs within the classroom. All lessons have
been extremely engaging with a variety of resources used. Lauren demonstrates
knowledge of a range of resources, including ICT, that engage students in their

Lauren is supportive of all the children’s needs both learning, behavioural and
special needs in the classroom, she has learnt some good behaviour management
techniques and this area is still developing. Lauren provides clear directions and
recaps what is needed to be completed, maybe work on different strategies to

procedures. Lauren provides clear critical feedback to each student, both verbally

communicates with parents and other staff members in the school on a daily basis, if
she is unsure she will speak to myself to find out how she should respond. Lauren

Areas of strength
Lauren has successfully completed the first 5 weeks of this prac. She has built up a
wonderful relationship with all the students and they just adore her, often making up
reasons to have a chat. Lauren has worked really hard on behaviour management
techniques as this cohort is rather challenging, with many different needs and
special needs within the classroom. All Lauren's lessons have been engaging and
incorporating technology. Love the many lessons that have the PowerPoint and
activity booklets. Lauren you are really working hard to maintain the children's

Continue to work on time management, this will come as you get more familiar with
the routines within a classroom setting. Remember to always go with the flow as
things within the classroom can change at the drop of a hat. Continue to work on
your behaviour management strategies and you will succeed in any class or
classroom environment that you may encounter along your teaching career.
