1. The Division YES-O will conduct the YES-O Camp on April 19-21, 2017 at Dela Fuente
Farm, Bantan, Pilar, Bataan,
2. The theme will focus on “No! sa Sakuna, YES-O Laging Handa”.
The activity seeks to achieve the following objectives
a. To strengthen the implementation of the Youth for Environment in Schools
Organization (YES-O) Program pursuant to DepEd Order No. 52 s. 2011
(Strengthening Environmental Education in Public and Private Schools), DepEd
Order No. 93 s. 2011 (Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities Various Forms
and Targets Pertinent to the Youth for Environment in Schools’ Programs);
b. To learn the science of climate change and its effects in the country;
¢. To develop learners’ awareness on the state of environment , focusing on significant
issues and concems and;
4d. To encourage students’ active participation and determine concrete action in the
protection, preservation and rehabilitation of the environment.
4. Participants to this activity are eight (8) student-officers/members, adviser, asst. YES-O
‘Adviser, Department Heads/Coordinators and EPS in science. List of participants must be
submitted to the YES-O Coordinator c/o Jerry B. Diwa-EPS (Science) using the attached
registration form on or before April 15, 2017.
5. Activities during the camp include plenary sessions and simultaneous contests such as
Slogan Making Contest, Poster-Making Contest, Jingle for Environment, Search for G. Bb.
Kalikasan, Creativity Challenge, Enviro-Quiz, Science Trail
6. A registration fee of P300.00 shall be charged each participant to cover expenses for ID,
handouts, rental of the facilities, certificates, materials and equipment for the contest, meals
and other operational/miscellaneous expenses.
7. Enclosed are the registration form, activity matrix, parent consent, rules, mechanics and
criteria for the contest.
8, Expenses for foods, transportation and other incidental of participants shall be charged to
local school board, MOOE or other local funds available,Division YES- 0 Camp 2017
