A DECONSTRUCTION ON THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA BY: HANS CHRISTIAN

Once, there was a well-off family where the two parents badly need a nanny for their
very young and sensitive infant. They need a nanny who is a good listener and does carce
the child well. They are posting “nanny for hire” in different social media platform to search
for the best nanny in town but after several trials and tests for a nanny who applies, the
nannies seemed to be bad listeners and can’t even remember a very important instruction.
One day, a woman slide on their direct messages, she applied for a nanny. The parents
stalked the profile of the woman and she seemed very mysterious and does not even show
in her account that she is expert in taking care of babies or infants and seemed dull. They
replied the woman to come in their house.

One day the woman arrived, her physical appearance makes an impression of being
decorous or “mahinhin” and not a good listener, as well. So, the parents seemed a bit off
that may be she can’t protect their child or can’t remember instructions carefully. The
mother told her husband “Let’s find out tonight if she will pass the test.” The evening came,
the mother instructed the nanny to take care of their infant because she with her husband
will go out he also said that the doors are voice-activated so if you say “open” it will be
opened, if close, then it will be closed. The mother goes to the infant’s room and replaces
the infant with a doll that looks like their infant; it also has a voice material in order to be
effective in the disguise. She takes her child with her then told the nanny to go inside the
room. Once the nanny is on her way at the door of the infant’s room, the lights suddenly go
off and she hears the cry of the baby doll. As she grab the doorknob to open the door, it is
locked. She started thinking what to do, then suddenly she remembers what the mother
told her “The door is voice-activated just say, and it opens” So she immediately did it then
rescue the baby doll, then the lights go back she was shocked that she held a baby doll and
not the true baby. The parents arrived and congratulate her for being the authentic nanny
who listens to instructions and does her best to take care the infant. The parents not only
give the job to the woman but they also give her bonus cash for a job well done.
