Sub: Reply on behalf of my client to legal notice dated 25/11/2020

Under the said instruction of my said client, Bharti Airtel

() Advocate, do hereby state to you –:

1. That my client is a registered infrastructure provider category -1 (IP-1) by virtue of
registration with the Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communication,
Government of India and is engaged in the business of establishment, maintainance and
provision of passive telecommunication infrastructure which presently inter alia includes
towers, antenna system, power supply, battery back-up, pre-fabricated shelter, duct space
and other cables /Optical fiber Cables and other allied equipment’s and letting of space
on such tower for installing BTS antennae on sharing basis ,to various licensed telecom
service providers like wire line and wireless communication including cellular service
providers.
2. That as per the fact of the case , the consumer on 10.11.2020 in order to get the facilitated
broadband service disbursed a total amount of Rs 2,829/- via online payment mode
bearing transaction id- 1110716206 but the consumer was not able to receive any
confirmation regarding the said services.
3. That as per my client’s representative ,when they went to the place as mentioned , no
such person or address was found to be there and even after several try made by the my
client’s technician they couldn’t locate the person nor the address.
 4. That my client’s technician tried their level best to provide the consumer with broadband
services but they couldn’t do due to wrong address provided by the consumer.
5. That my client refunded the whole amount Rs.2829 via VISA Debit Card whose
reference number is 202070213829599 dated 02.12.2020 on account of not able to
establish the broadband service to the consumer.
6. That my client’s representatives took the pain of making the things clear as why the
customer couldn’t get broadband service as the address being wrong and no such person
was found living at the address given.

That my client has suffered a lot of mental agony as inspite of fault being on consumer side i.e.
giving wrong address to my client’s team.

That it is quite evident that no fault is there on the my client’s side and for this I would request
you to provide him with compensation of 5000 for the defamation caused by the customer as my
client is reputed and registered company which deals in providing network services &
telecommunication services to the needy.
