I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
 Identify the different electromagnetic waves;
 applications of each electromagnetic wave which
are essential in our daily living.
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrate the understanding of
 the different regions of the electromagnetic
spectrum
B. Performance Standards The learners should be able to:
1. Demonstrate ways to ensure disaster preparedness
during earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic
eruptions.
2. Suggest ways by which he/she can contribute to
government efforts in reducing damage due to
earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions.

C. Most Essential Learning Competencies  Cite examples of practical applications of the


(MELC) different regions of EM waves, such as the use of
radio waves in telecommunications
