Parts List
Socket head screws: 8-32 threads in a 9/16" length as measured from
under the cap to the tip of the screw (1 or as many as you think are
convenient)
JLS Flute Tone Hole Set: SKU #227006 (1) or the Straubinger
Tone Hole Set (1)
Hex ball end driver: 9/64” (1)
0.0625" Round Steel Spacer Blocks (1 or as many as you think is
convenient)
Klingspor Peel and Stick Adhesive Sandpaper in at least 400 and 800
grit - can go finer if desired, Kraus Music Products sells this in small
quantities, but you can also order directly from Klingspor by calling them at
(800) 645-5555. Split the order with some friends - the rolls are 4 inches by
10 meters long! You may also use regular sandpaper with spray adhesive
or contact cement.
Delrin rod 5/8” diameter to make tone hole pilots as needed and to make
the spacer block centering guide
#29 Drill and 8-32 tap for center holes (why 8-32? because both the
Straubinger tone hole tool set and the JLS set are already threaded
with that pitch so it will make your set cross-compatible. Schmidt's
set is 10-24, unfortunately)
Brass rod round, 1/2” or 9/16" diameter to make trill facing disks
