If we multiply the number of moles of molecules by the number of a


particular type of atom in a molecule (i.e. by the subscript of the atom),
we get the number of moles of that type of atom.Thus, in 0.25mol
HzSO+ there are 4x0.25 (i.e. 1.0) mol oxygen atoms.
