Story Writing – 250 Words

Story Background – Aseem migrated to America from India and FIA has arrested him for
human traficing as Soumya suffered the same scenario before. Write-up a short story using
given plot line.

Part 1
A large ‘bang’ from the door woke Aseem up from a brief nap, where he was re-imagining his
old memories. A law enforcement agent had stopped by, to inform Aseem that he was being let
go. Soumya had contacted a lawyer after catching up with the situation. After reaching home,
Aseem figuratively fell down a rabbit hole of despair and suicidal thoughts.
 Aseem has a mental breakdown after reaching home
 The lawyer briefs Aseem about what has to be done.

Part 2
Soumya was a lot like Aseem in many ways, she had also migrated from India to work in
America. She took care of her two little brothers after her mother passed away. She was a
responsible adult that took care of her family, and her brother’s education by helping them out
from America.
