Computer virus
Computer viruses are program applications that can reproduce themselves and spread by
inserting themselves into other programs and data. Usually the user does not know if the computer
he owns is infected with a virus until one of the data is lost or the program on the computer cannot be
run. The following types of viruses from computers:

❖Worm is a type of virus that can spread without requiring special interaction from its users.
❖Trojans are viruses that are created with the aim of stealing data and controlling victim data.
❖Spyware is a virus program that can install itself on an infected device without the victim's
knowledge.
❖Resident Memory ordinary will attack RAM. Computers that are infected with this virus usually
experience slowdowns in programs when they run.

Viruses are small software or applications that destroy how other application software
works in technology-based programs. For example, viruses attach themselves to programs such
as spreadsheet programs. Every time the spreadsheet program is run, the virus will run too, and
have the opportunity to reproduce (by attaching to other programs) then wreak havoc. The
current capabilities of the virus have cost billions of dollars. On the other hand, they show us
how humans are able to provide the sophistication of machines and then design a program to
treat the virus as an antivirus program. The purpose of viruses is to interfere with devices to
spread themselves and take the data we have. The more sophisticated the virus develops, the
more subtle the way they work in infecting computers or laptops. Its sophistication makes us
unaware that there is a virus on the device until serious damage occurs. To avoid bad things
from happening to a computer or laptop due to a virus, we can confirm its existence by
observing the signs. This is a sign that your computer or laptop has a virus
1. Many Ads Appear
2. Performance Starts To Slow Down
3. Storage Space is suddenly full
4. Inactive Antivirus
5. Files are Lost or Locked
The reason is laptops can be exposed to viruses, especially for windows users.
1. Carelessly downloading files or software.
2. Open the shortcut file from the flash.
3. Opening suspicious sites.
4. Never update antivirus.
5. No antivirus.

These problems can be overcome in various waysI advise you to treat a laptop affected by a
virus in the following ways:

1. Use anti virus

To get rid of dangerous viruses we can use antivirus Smadav, Avast, AVG, Avira, Norton,
Kaspersky and others. Use one of the antiviruses that you think is the best, and don't forget to
update it regularly, and perform a scan by running the antivirus. So, when the virus infiltrates,
the antivirus will detect and clean the malicious files.

2.Rescue Disc

For the Rescue Disk program, you can use Windows Defender Offline. This application can
help you with the previous laptop virus methods which were not successful laptop viruses
completely.

3. Reinstall

Another step you can take to remove a virus on a laptop and perhaps one of the last options is
to reinstall the laptop. You can reinstall if the infection with Windows is so severe that even anti-
virus applications cannot handle it properly. Before reinstalling your laptop, make sure you have
backed up important data from the laptop. This way, when you reinstall, important data on your
laptop not delete.
