Conclusion
• This book clearly demonstrates what a huge difference good managers make to
the business, its customers and the employees
• Management is a skill which can be learnt and the book peovides all the
necessary tools with the focus on predictive ratjer than reactive management.
• The only criticism is that the book presents an LTO utopia, far removed from
reality.and readers may feel that the aims are unachieveable and be left with a
sense of desperation about their current working condition
• Another point is that the presentation is fairly dull ,the text is dense and there is
constant referral to separate pages for tables, explanations and additional
information which is frustrating.
• All in all ,it is a really useful reference book and i would definitely recommend this
text to all new managers in the ELT industry as well as common teachers who are
going to become managers in future.
