Work Immersion Day 1 Narrative Report

For my work immersion I have chosen to work at the sari-sari store of my Uncle and Auntie so I
asked them if I can be a temporary vendor at their sari-sari store and luckily, they agreed and
allowed me to have it as my workplace.

On my first day at their store, my Auntie gave me a tour and explained to me the rules and
regulations regarding to their business. She also let me memorized a lot of the different prices for
the products they are selling.

I am overwhelmed looking at the money I earned from working there as the day ends.

Work Immersion Day 2 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 18, 2021

Today is my second day working as a temporary vendor in a sari-sari store for my work
immersion.

In the morning, I only arranged some of the items in the store properly. Examples of those items
are canned items, sanitizing and household cleaning materials. My Auntie, one of the owner
asked me to arranged and place them to each of their container in the store, All of those items are
new bought from other grocery store as their new stocks.

Before the end of working hours, I was so happy because we had many costumers today. And
before I go home my Auntie handed me my salary for this day.

Work Immersion Day 3 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 19, 2021

On the third day of my work immersion I did not do many tasks.

I thought this day have many tasks to do but I was wrong. My Auntie just told me to just stay in
the store and wait for the costumers. So this day is not a tiring day, that very different from what
I expected.

It was a happy day for me because I did my job well done today. It was also nice to earned
money that comes from my own hard work.

Work Immersion Day 4 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 20, 2021

On my 4th day of my work immersion I arrived at the store early. My Auntie Maricel told me to
clean the store. That includes the table and other things in the store. So that’s all what I did in the
morning.

After I finished cleaning inside the store, I started to wait for the costumers. Every time when
there are no costumers, I would wipe some shelves container in the store with a clean cloth.

In the afternoon, I had only four costumers based on what I remembered. Because of that, mostly
of the time I was only sitting inside the store while waiting for the costumers to come and buy.
Before I go home because my working hours today are done, my Auntie gave me my salary then
I just thanked her for that and go home.

Work Immersion Day 5 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 21, 2021

Day five of my work immersion and honestly Im getting used to work here as a temporary
vendor. I always happy every time I got my salary after the end of my work here. Even
sometimes other days were tiring day but it’s still fun to serve the costumers. Specially, when the
costumers are happy with your service.

In the morning, I only cleaned the store while there are no costumers are coming because it’s still
early. I also arranged the items in a proper way in the store. My Auntie Maricel asked me to put
and arranged them to their each place based on what kind of products they are, according to their
types and uses.

As usual, after cleaning I would start selling again like on my first days here. As everyday
routine, when it’s already end of working hours, my Auntie will always give me my salary and
that’s the same thing happened to me this day before going home.

Work Immersion Day 6 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 22, 2021

This day was a good day. Usually when I was already at the store, the first thing I’ll do is to
clean. So this day I did that same routine before starting to sell.

Time passed when my Auntie called me and then told me to use clean cloth to wipe all the
canned products in the store.

As usual, when there are costumers are coming to buy I would give them what they are buying.
The day ended so I expected that may Auntie would give me my salary before I go home. And
that’s exactly what happened before I can go home, my Auntie handed me my salary as their pay
to me for working for them.

Work Immersion Day 7 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 23, 2021

On the 7th day of my work immersion my Auntie only asked me to clean the store. She also asked
me to dispose the trash. And all of those are the things that I did in the morning. After cleaning, I
rested a bit while waiting for the costumers.

In the afternoon my Auntie called me again to ask me to do a different task. She asked me to
arrange in proper order those fabric conditioner, shampoos and etc. That’s all I did in the
afternoon and selling of course.

As the day ends, before I go home my Auntie gave me my salary.

Work Immersion Day 8 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 24, 2021

The 8th day of my work immersion was not a tiring day. This day didn’t have much tasks.

In the morning the first thing I did is to check the bread products if all of it are in good condition.
I checked them and saw nothing bad and unfamiliar. They’re still in good condition.

The morning passed, and when it’s already afternoon while there are no costumers are coming
that when I decided to wipe the shelves, container of sweet items in the store with clean cloth.
My Auntie told me that I’m a good multitasker because I can be a vendor and I can clean at the
same time, like as she said. Although that was only a joke but I felt happy and overwhelmed by
what she has said.

The working hours ended with nothing new happened, as usual I mostly did selling all day.
Before I decided to go home, my Auntie handed me my salary. This day was a happy day.

Work Immersion Day 9 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 25, 2021

This is my 9th and second to the last day of my work immersion. My Auntie gave me nothing
much tasks but to sell all day. This day was not a tiring day. I was happy because I didn ’t do
many tasks this day.

In the afternoon, there are less costumers this afternoon so my Auntie and Uncle told me that I
can sleep if I want to, since there are no many costumers in the afternoon are coming. But I said
no to them and chose to stay awake and wait for the costumers rather than to sleep.

This day was like before, I only did selling today. Before the day ends, the working hours rather,
my Uncle and Auntie gave me my salary for the day.

Work Immersion Day 10 Narrative Report

ACLC College of Baliuag January 27, 2021

On my 10th and last day of my work immersion, I arrived early at the store. I think I ’m going to
miss those of my working days here in sari-sari store that I used to be my workplace for 10 days
of work immersion since this was my last day here.

In the morning, I only clean the store, arranged some items and selling as usual.

Afternoon and working hours passed, I only did cleaning and selling. Before I go home my
Auntie and Uncle gave me my salary for the last day I worked here. They congratulated me
because Im finally done in my work immersion. I really enjoyed working here as a temporary
student vendor. Specially when it comes to the thought and feeling that I’m earning money. I am
really thankful to my Auntie and Uncle for letting me experienced to work as a temporary vendor
in their sari-sari store. Also, I am thankful to the both of them for letting their sari-sari store to be
my temporarily workplace for my work immersion. This day was great!
