PT. Gobel Dharma Sarana Karya,established in 1977,
is part of Gobel Group of companies. Started out
merely from the sincere motivation of our late founder,
Drs. H. Thayeb Mohammad Gobel to provide in-house
meals for his factory workers. During that time,
factories providing in-house meals to its workers were
not a common practice in Indonesia. He then set up a
kitchen in his factory and gathered the workers’ wives
to prepare good quality meals for their husbands
working in the factory. His only purpose then was only
to see the workers being able to have decent meals
during their break time therefore making them feel
happy and enhancing their productivity.

Today, PT. Gobel Dharma Sarana Karya have evolved

into a professional services company providing variety
of food and hospitality services to various parts of
society in Indonesia. Our aim is to improve the lives of
people we touch with our services and smiles.

DRS. H. THAYEB MOHAMMAD GOBEL
The late Drs. H. Thayeb Mohammad Gobel is widely regarded as the pioneer of electronic
industry in Indonesia. In 1954, inspired by the spirit of nationalism he established PT.
Transistor Radio Manufacturing producing the first ever transistor radio in Indonesia with
the brand trademark of “TJAWANG”.
This was regarded as the very roots and beginning of Gobel Group. Since then Gobel Group
has grown becoming one of the largest business group in Indonesia with various business
activities including Electronics, Chemicals, Transportation & Logistics, Food, Advertising
and Property.

The group’s core values are based on two basic
business philosophy that are “The Banana Tree
Philosophy” and “The Seven Principles”.

The Banana Tree Philosophy exemplifies togetherness,

willingness to sacrifice, spirit to serve mankind and
the ability to regenerate.

The Seven Principles are practical guidelines for all

employees, they are:

 We have a proven track record of providing food

INSTITUTIONAL CATERING services (catering services) individually tailored to

each specific customer needs. We provide our services
to various industries, serving meals in their offices,
factories, remote sites, offshore platforms, hospitals
and schools. Today, we serve more than 10 million
meals annually to our customers, serving them
nutritious meals with the highest quality and safety
standards. Serving meals that are pleasing to high
numbers of people may become problems therefore
with our services we provide our customers with the
solutions they need.

 Experienced in serving catering for various needs, we
also provide catering services for special events. From

EVENT CATERING small intimate events with handful of guests to large

scale international event with large number of people.
We serve corporate events and also private
celebrations, such as weddings, birthdays, festive
occasions, etc. In 2018, we are trusted as "Master
Caterer" of the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and
Palembang, which were attended by around 11,000
athletes from 46 countries. Every day we provide no
less than 49,000 servings of food and snacks for
athletes and officials, serving different variety of
cuisines including Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese,
committed to create memorable experiences with
exceptional food and service in each event we served.

FACILITY SERVICES
We provide facility management services to our
customers, helping them managing various facilities
in their premises. We recognize the challenge that our
customers are facing in creating an ideal working
environment for them. With our services, we help
creating a pleasant and healthy working environment
for our customers. Our services are ranging from
accomodation management, housekeeping, cleaning
services, laundry services, etc.

F&B RETAIL
We started our F&B Retail business during the late
90’s by opening Pasir Putih cafe & bar in Kemang,
Jakarta. Pasir Putih was the pioneer which led the
development of Kemang area to become the trendiest
and most famous entertainment area in Jakarta. From
then on, we have successfully introduced innovative
and exciting F&B Retail concept to Indonesian market
in various format such as, restaurant, cafe, patisserie,
etc.

We have investments in a resort company which owns

“Puri Candikuning”, a lakeside resort in Bali. The
resort seats in 10 hectare green landscape beside lake
Beratan in mount Bedugul, a restful sanctuary
removed from the hectic pace of mainstream tourism
where guests can escape the pressures of modern
living and reconnect with nature.
