OUTLINE:
1. TALK:
Angie will be on stage carrying bottled water (without the brand). Will begin the presentation by
taking a drink of the water. Goes on to say,
“What does the world do with this piece of plastic waste that has been so deeply embedded in
our everyday lives?”

2. Continues with a short introduction about plastic waste and then transitions to the data and
statistics from MATHEMATICS TEAM.

3. TALK:
Angie will say,
“At the rate we’re going, we will see our city/country engulfed in plastic waste. This is why we,
together with our fellow students, thought of an alternative solution to plastic waste.”

1. TALK:

Juan will say,
“In the first video, we introduced to you our concept of alternative bricks. As a Business
Management student, I learned that everything we see around us sprang forth from an idea, a
single concept. And some of these ideas are now inevitable parts of our life.
There is this concept that we learned in Business Management called ‘Negative Externalities’
and ‘Corporate Social Responsibility…….”
“If we were to study closer the cost of risk between commercialized bricks and our idea of
alternative bricks, we can see….”

2. Transitions to the BUSINESS MANAGEMENT VIDEO

“So the question is, if this T-bricks were to become a business idea, how do we market them and
where do market them?
Surabaya, the second largest city in Indonesia and the capital of Java Island, the place where I
was born, the place I love.
**Shows a short clip of Modern Surabaya (by ESS team)””

4. TALK:
Juan will say,
“But Surabaya is not all this grandeur and modernization that I just showed you. There is another
facet to it that is very much a part of our reality. These communities will be the breeding ground
of our alternative bricks idea….”

5. Continues with the ESS video introducing these communities around Surabaya.

“Our ethical imperative to save our planet is the driving force of this idea. Someday, with
technological advancement, T-bricks will be an indispensable part of our lives. This is our heart.”
“Surabaya, a place we call home, is known as a city of heroes. The world must know this. But
the world also must know that you and I can be heroes, too, if we only care enough, if we only
share enough, and if we only do enough.”
