Day of the exam

As soon as I woke up, I realized that it was the most important day of my life.

Today was my entrance exam , the day when I will prove whether I am fit to enter
the university.

I hurried out of bed to wash up, change and go down to the dining room for
breakfast. After that, my mother blessed me and gave me lots of encouragement.
When I finished eating, she told me that I am the best and that I will be able to pass
the exam.

I got on the bus to go to the university and met several kids like me. Some were
calm, others nervous. This filled me with excitement.

When I got off the bus, I was at the university gate to enter. It only took me 20
minutes to get in. The doorman loudly told us to get our ID to enter, and I suddenly
realized that I had forgotten to bring my ID for the exam.

Suddenly, I couldn't think of any other way to borrow the cell phone of a man who
was reading his newspaper in front of the university, the good thing is that the man
respectfully agreed.

At that moment there were 10 minutes left for the doors to open , I called my dad
and told him if he had seen my ID inside my room , he answered that he could not
find it , until I remembered that I left it on the dining room table , therefore and in
a hurry , I told him it was there .

At the right time, my dad had a motorcycle, and with that, he came quickly to the
university to give me my ID card, "Thanks dad, I will return the favor by entering the
university" I told him, and he replied "You do not owe me anything son, you just do
what you know how to do". Therefore, I entered to take my exam with great care,
finally, at noon I finished my exam and had to wait 5 more hours to know the results,
which, when the time came, were positive and in the end I passed. I will never forget
that day.
