1. How do you hone your analytical thinking when it comes to law?

“Nagbabasa pa rin ako hanggang ngayon kahit tumanda na ako sa practice”.

2. How do you deal with difficult litigants?

“Hindi naman ako nagkaroon ng difficult na client dahil kung magiging difficult sila
eh magiging difficult din iresolve ang kaso nila”

3. Work ethics?

“Will stay past the office hours just to make sure each case is resolved.”

4. What is the most difficult part of your job?

“Traveling. It’s hard to be away from my family and the actual travel itself is
difficult. Tulad dati sa Mindanao ako nakatira. Pag may kaso sa Manila kailangan
pa mag plane.”

5. How long have you been working for the government?

“5 years.”

Provincial Chief Prosecutor Benjamin Lanto passed the bar in 1985 and has
been working for 33 years in the field of law. He is originally from Iligan,
Mindanao but moved to Metro Manila in 2017. He is currently 61 years old as of
the time of observation and interview. He was the previous City Chief Prosecutor
of Pasay City but transferred to the Province of Lanao Del Norte.
