Currently working as Safety Officer since Feb-2018 in Al-Ahlia Integrated General Trading &
Contracting Company WLL, Kuwait

ROLES AND RESPONDSIBILITIES:

➢ Implementation of Project safety plan.

➢ Managing of all safety issues & Programs in the project effectively.
➢ Risk Assessment and suggesting suitable control measures.
➢ Conducting safety training course on major subjects like basic Firefighting, induction training to
all employees, including sub-contractors and suggest external training where required.
➢ Conducting comprehensive and detailed inspection of safety equipment’s, vehicles, equipment’s,
machineries and tools.
➢ Plan and conducting safety internal Audit.
➢ Conducting Scaffolding inspections prior to use.
➢ Coordinating and managing all aspect in safety of the project with sub-contractors.
➢ Observe work activates and identify hazards in range of operations such as lifting, work at height,
handling chemicals, operating machinery, excavation etc.
➢ Prepare and train for emergency response procedure
➢ Investigate all accidents (LTA) incidents, near misses and advise management to learn points.
➢ Conducting regular safety meeting & Tool-box talks.
➢ Coordinating with site safety officers regarding the daily safety activities.
➢ Coordinating & managing all aspect safety of the project with sub-contractors.
➢ Proper documentation of safety related data’s.
➢ Manage Emergency situation and reported to the higher officials.
➢ Recording and reporting the incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health.
➢ Keeping update and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
➢ Maintain positive discipline and proactive relations with higher officials and employees.
