KHTM had a great meeting this Tuesday in spite of the Lunar New Year celebration. Thanks to
everybody who came out and participate in the intimate but spirited meeting.
Next Tuesday is Guest Night, our monthly showcase for the club. We have a great Toastmaster
in Robyn Pazicni and 4 speakers lined up. So if you want to show off the club to a friend or
colleague this is a great opportunity to do so.
I hope to see you there!

Role Takers Recap Meeting Summary for 1st February 2011

Theme: KHTM: The Greatest Sitcom
Word of the Day
- Sook Young The toastmaster for the week was Ji Yeon Yoon who introduced the theme of the day by comparing
KHTM to the famous sitcom Friends. Ji Yeon prepared a photo montage which allowed the audience
enrich (verb) - to supply with abundance to see all the fun moments we have together on this wacky
of anything desirable sitcom called KHTM.

Next up was a great table topics session by Saraubh.

Movie Review Saraubh recently finished his PHD and already has
- Kenny a job lined up with LG, so he was in great spirits to
host the session. He asked a variety of questions
about character and the club. The best thing was that
Kenny reviewed
3 guests participated in the session. Great job

with a young girl Next up was our speaking session. It was led off by
vampire. It is a Brendan who told the story of his love affair with
remake of the punk rock and the chance meeting that sparked it.
2008 Swedish
film Let the Right Following Brendan was new member Ju Young who was doing her first speech at KHTM (but her
One In. st
21 speech overall). Those who had never seen Ju Young speak were really impressed by her
ability. She told a touching personal story of her mentor growing up and how his death affected her
and her outlook on life.
Commercial The meeting wrapped up with the evaluation session hosted by Sook Young who gave us a great

critique of a wonderful meeting (despite a very technical difficulties)

Great job by all the role takers for stepping up and putting on an awesome meeting!
