National Service Training Program (NSTP)

I. Introduction
Tertiary level schools adapted the NSTP( National Service Training Program) to provide the
students under its constituency a sufficient information and experience about social
responsibility like, love of country, good moral, and relationship towards other people, academic
excellence, and even public services.

Under the second semester of the academic year 2019-2020, Sultan Kudarat States University
(SKSU) mandated the students to provide community services outside its campus for the
intention that students may gain awareness on nurturing the community and environment and
engaging oneself through social interactions with their co-department students.

The three department of SKSU-Isulan had been task by different mentors and teachers. The
engineering depart was then deported to the old Department of Environment and Natural
Resources (DENR) building to clean up its surroundings and maintain it for it has been proposed
to turn over to Red Cross of Sultan Kudarat Chapter to become as their Headquarters.

II. Activities Attended

The NSTP has been set on Saturdays of every week (8:00 am-11:00 am). Under the 2nd semester
of School year 2019-2020, the following are the dates of activities students have had attended:
 February 1, 2020 - cleaning around Engineering Building at Isulan Campus
 February 8, 2020 - first Saturday of cleaning on the old DENR building.
 February 15, 2020 - second day of cleaning on the surrounding area of the old DENR building
 February 22, 2020 - third day at the old DENR building
 February 29, 2020 - fourth day and last day of community service at the old DENR Building
 March 7, 2020 - NSTP was held at the Isulan Campus
 March 14, 2020 - last day of an activity of NSTP held from the campus

III. Pictorials and Documentations

•February 1,2020- cleaning around Engineering Building at Isulan Campus
The students clean up the surrounding of the Engineering Building by sweeping dried leaves and
picking up plastics.
• February 8, 2020 - first Saturday of cleaning on the old DENR building.
The students clean up the surrounding of the Building by sweeping out those dried leaves and
cutting off unnecessary plants and tall grasses

•February 15, 2020 - second day of cleaning on the surrounding area of the old DENR building
•February 22, 2020 - third day at the old DENR building

•February 29, 2020 - fourth day and last day of community service at the old DENR Building
The students were assigned to different places not just around the building. Group 6 had been
assigned to stay at the DENR and clean its surroundings.
