Service check

Introduction:

The 1-Channel is a analyzer system which needs only less service and maintenance actions.

So the following checklist will give suggested preventive checks for a proper function.

According the national requirements we suggest to do a service check once a year / every two years.

Mixer spinning

Introduction:

For a save function a proper function of the mixer motor and the mixer is required.

Check procedure:

Prepare a new cuvette with 200µl distilled

water. **1)

Make sure that a new mixer is inside.

Make sure that there are no air bubbles

inside.

Start analyzer in service mode

Select <mixer >

Start motor with 200 rpm

Put prepared cuvette into measuring

channel.

Make a visual check:

does the mixer spin in the center of the

cuvette

does the spinning mixer seems to be a

star like 

in case it seems to be a triangle

like 
then check or replace the magnet / mixer
motor unit.

**1) It is required to use a new cuvette with a new mixer to get a objective visual picture of the
spinning mixer.

Printer connection

Introduction:

The 1-Channel can be connected to an

external serial thermal printer.

LABiTec suggests to use a Seiko Epson

DPU-414 thermal printer.

In some countries the DPU 414 Printer and

it´s power supply have to be ordered
separately.

Contact your local distributor for details.

To run the DPU-414 printer with a

1-Channel 504 analyzer a special printer
cable will be needed.

This section describes how to change the settings of the Dip switches of the Thermal Printer DPU-414
with the use of the buttons ONLINE and FEED

Button: ONLINE Dip Switch = ON

Button: FEED Dip Switch = OFF

Set the status of a Dip switch to “ON” by pressing ONLINE button or to “OFF” by pressing FEED button
