Service check
Introduction:
The 1-Channel is a analyzer system which needs only less service and maintenance actions.
So the following checklist will give suggested preventive checks for a proper function.
According the national requirements we suggest to do a service check once a year / every two years.

Introduction:
For a save function a proper function of the mixer motor and the mixer is required.
Check procedure:
**1) It is required to use a new cuvette with a new mixer to get a objective visual picture of the
spinning mixer.

Preparation:
Switch on analyzer.
Select softwarefunction <calib.>
In service- or UTILITIES menu.
Refer to chapter “software structure” or
chapter “Service mode”

1. Wait until the temperature has stabilized to 37.4 on the int display. (int = internal)
2. Press Enter key.
3. Read the actual temperature of the thermal block from the thermometer
4. Key in this value via the numerical keyboard.
It will be displayed in the ext field automatically. (ext = external)
The decimal point can be entered by pressing the „>„ key.
Press Enter to confirm. The calibration value will be set in the analyzer
automatically and will be displayed in the int line.
5. Wait again until the temperature has stabilized to 37,4 in the int line.
6. If the value in the internal line has stabilized to 37,4 it must be compared to the
digital multimeter. If the values deviate repeat this procedure from item 2 above.
If both values are identical finish calibration and save by pressing the ESC key.

Red and green lamps blink alternately.
Release the button after a list of current settings starts printing out.

This section describes how to change the settings of the Dip switches of the Thermal Printer DPU-414
with the use of the buttons ONLINE and FEED
Set the status of a Dip switch to “ON” by pressing ONLINE button or to “OFF” by pressing FEED button
as indicated in the tables below.
After the ONLINE button has been pressed the GREEN lamp indicates that the button operation has
been confirmed. When the FEED button has been pressed, the button operation is confirmed by the
RED lamp.
Alternately blinking of both lamps indicates that the new settings are written to memory.
WARNING: Never turn the printer OFF while it is writing new settings to memory.
After each Dip switch setting via button, the status of the actual Dip switch is printed out automatically.
Wait until “DIP SW setting complete!!” is printed out and the printer returns to the ONLINE mode
before turn off the power.
