About the conference

The conference aims to bring together researchers, developers, policy makers, development
practitioners, climate scientists, user groups ,stakeholders and institutions from Africa and the
rest of the world to introduce the ongoing and planned research on climate change and
adaptation, share experiences and to discuss the cooperation possibilities for developing new
climate applications.
The Conference also addresses the strengths and weaknesses of existing regional reanalysis
products and identified concrete goals and activities for improving the regional reanalysis offer
for climate services development.
